I think that people vandalize because they want to express their opinions and feelings, and feel they get a 'buzz' by damaging other people's things and public places, and using depictions and words to show what they are feeling, becaus e they know a large audience will see it, or generally to annoy other people. I believe that although the majority of cases are blamed on young people, anyone can vandalize.
